The SM-77-P makes flat and satchel paper bags from a single kraft reel: it prints, forms the tube, perforates, cuts, folds the bottom and delivers counted stacks in one continuous pass. Nothing is handled between stations.
Perforation is what separates this machine from the entry-level class. A servo-driven perforating knife scores the web ahead of the cut, so the bag separates cleanly at speed without the tearing that plagues cam-driven cutters running above 400 pieces per minute.
Every SM-77-P leaves Istanbul after a full production run on the buyer's own paper. We record the run, send the video, and only then crate the machine.
How it works
A 1000 mm kraft reel is loaded on the pneumatic shaft. A dancer roll and servo brake hold web tension constant from full reel to core, which is what keeps print register stable as the roll diameter falls. The optional flexo deck prints up to four colours with water-based ink and dries inline.
The forming plate folds the flat web into a tube and sets the side gusset. A cold-glue wheel lays the longitudinal seam, then the servo perforating knife scores the tube at the bag pitch. Because the knife is on its own servo axis, perforation depth and position are set numerically — no shims, no trial cuts.
The cross-cut servo separates the tube on the perforation, the bottom station opens, glues and folds the base, and the delivery belt stacks bags in counted batches. An automatic offset marks each batch so the operator can lift a bundle without counting by hand.
Assembled, the three modules occupy 8.64 metres of floor and are driven by one PLC. One operator runs the line; a second is needed only when changing the reel.
